Meet Our Orthodontists in Southlake
Dr. Anthony Patel enjoys sharing the journey of creating a beautiful smile with his patients and believes it is the most rewarding profession. He attended the University of Illinois at Chicago as an undergraduate and went on to earn his Doctorate in Dental Medicine and Master of Science in Education, concurrently, from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Patel was awarded a full scholarship for all four years of dental school by the United States Navy Dental Corps. Upon graduation, he was sworn in as a lieutenant and started his career as a general dentist at Naval Dental Center Great Lakes. Upon completion of his active-duty military commitment, Dr. Patel attended the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at San Antonio where he received his specialty training in orthodontics and was selected as Chief Resident. Dr. Patel currently contributes his time to UTHSCSA as a clinical assistant professor, where he teaches about practice management and supervises orthodontic residents in the use of Invisalign® aligners and the Damon®️ Smile.
Dr. Patel’s most valued free time is spent with his wonderful boys, building lasting memories. He is a die-hard Chicago sports fan and enjoys attending collegiate and professional sporting events, golfing, and anything related to fitness. One of his greatest lifetime memories was with his loving father as they witnessed the 2016 Chicago Cubs win their first World Series in 108 years!
