Meet Our Orthodontists in Moultrie
Dr. Yuri Borges was born in Brazil and raised in New Jersey. He returned to his home country to pursue dental school and earn his orthodontic certificate and opened an orthodontic practice upon graduation. During his decade of practicing, he also served as a clinical instructor and became a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association.
After affiliating, Dr. Borges decided to take his career to the next level. Together with his practice co-partner and brother, Dr. Stalin Borges, he moved back to the United States to earn his DMD at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. In his second stretch of education, Dr. Borges was awarded a spotlight position and many clinical awards for outstanding clinical performance.
The Borges brothers always dreamed of living in Georgia due to the similarities in cultural values and lifestyle the region shares with Brazil. Now, they create confident smiles in neighboring cities.
Outside of the office, Dr. Borges is an avid runner and enjoys triathlons and marathons. He has successfully completed an ultramarathon in Ireland, a full marathon in the desert of Atacama in Chile, and many others. Dr. Borges also loves spending time with his wife and daughter.

“Love this place and the people! I’ve been several times because I just felt like my teeth weren’t what I wanted them to be and i think i’ve seen 2 different doctors there in the past 3+ years, but Dr. Santos is by far the best! He takes time with the many patients they have everyday, he pays attention to concerns, and gives great opinions. Personally, I treat his opinion as gold since he has the BEST teeth in the world. The staff is nice and courteous and it seems to be a good workplace because every time I go in their laughing, talking and carrying conversations with the patients. If they were a regular dentist office, this would be my primary.”
