Meet Our Orthodontists in Moultrie
Dr. Yuri Borges was born in Brazil and raised in New Jersey. He returned to his home country to pursue dental school and earn his orthodontic certificate and opened an orthodontic practice upon graduation. During his decade of practicing, he also served as a clinical instructor and became a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the American Dental Association.
After affiliating, Dr. Borges decided to take his career to the next level. Together with his practice co-partner and brother, Dr. Stalin Borges, he moved back to the United States to earn his DMD at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. In his second stretch of education, Dr. Borges was awarded a spotlight position and many clinical awards for outstanding clinical performance.
The Borges brothers always dreamed of living in Georgia due to the similarities in cultural values and lifestyle the region shares with Brazil. Now, they create confident smiles in neighboring cities.
Outside of the office, Dr. Borges is an avid runner and enjoys triathlons and marathons. He has successfully completed an ultramarathon in Ireland, a full marathon in the desert of Atacama in Chile, and many others. Dr. Borges also loves spending time with his wife and daughter.
