Meet Our Orthodontists in Lees Summit
Dr. Jenna Walburn attended Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in Glendale, AZ. After dental school, she completed her orthodontic residency at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. She had the privilege of learning from her father, Dr. Rolf (“Buzz”) Behrents, an orthodontic educator and editor of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During her residency, she completed a one-year fellowship at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital focused on the multidisciplinary treatment of pediatric patients with cleft lip and palate.
She has volunteered for Give Kids A Smile for many years, providing free dental care and education for underserved children. The KU Medical Center invited Dr. Jenna to serve on the multidisciplinary Cleft Lip and Palate Team. Since 2021, she has been honored to work with the great doctors at KU Medical Center on the most complex treatments.
Dr. Jenna is committed to leading her profession and is actively involved with her national and regional orthodontic societies. She currently serves on the AAO Council on Membership, Ethics, and Judicial Concerns and is an MSO delegate for the AAO House of Delegates.
Dr. Jenna loves getting to know her patients and seeing their smiles change. When she isn’t in the office, she spends time with her husband, Josh, and her kiddos, Madeleine and Atticus. They are big sports fans (especially soccer) and love traveling anywhere and everywhere.
