Meet Our Orthodontists in Sevierville
Dr. Charlie Arndt brings a wealth of experience and a passion for transforming smiles to East Tennessee. Dr. Arndt completed her undergraduate and dental education at the University of Iowa. Continuing her education, she completed orthodontic residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
She is proficient in a vast array of appliances, including a variety of bracket systems, Invisalign® aligners, in-house aligners, CS Springs, Hyrax expanders, and MSE/MARPE.
With a comprehensive background in orthodontics, Dr. Arndt excels in treating patients of all age groups and complexities, from children in Phase I to teens and adults requiring comprehensive care. Her proficiency extends to managing treatment, including impacted canines, TAD placement, extraction and non-extraction methods, surgical decompensation, and post-surgical finishing.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and systematic treatment planning, Dr. Arndt remains at the forefront of orthodontic technology, utilizing advancements such as 3D printing, dental photography, digital scans, and clear aligners to deliver optimal results.
Driven by a commitment to personalized care, Dr. Arndt tailors her treatment by identifying each patient’s unique needs and goals. She strives to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and cared for throughout their orthodontic journey.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Arndt enjoys being active, exploring nature, reading, baking, and, most importantly, spending time with her family.

“My Daughter needed bands for her braces, with 3.5 weeks before we could make it back to her home Ortho office. Went to CVS, Walgreens, Dollar stores, Publix, Krogers with no luck, online/ walmart order w/ no pick up avalible. Called 2 ortho offices both were only in office certain days, ran into the weekend wait of course>no offices open. Monday am called a general dentist but they didn’t have bands in stock unless your talking about dollars HAHA!! Humorous at this point dead end after dead end all over bands. Bk on the phone next call being- Smile Doctors- secretary said “come in we can help you”. Front desk was welcoming, the dental assistant asked a few questions regarding band size etc, we left with the perfect bands satisfactory, all needs met! This office is very understanding/ caring and kind to out of town visitors with urgent needs. Thank you Smile Doctors!”
