Meet Our Orthodontists in Knoxville – Mabry Hood
Dr. Charlie Arndt brings a wealth of experience and a passion for transforming smiles to East Tennessee. Dr. Arndt completed her undergraduate and dental education at the University of Iowa. Continuing her education, she completed orthodontic residency training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
She is proficient in a vast array of appliances, including a variety of bracket systems, Invisalign® aligners, in-house aligners, CS Springs, Hyrax expanders, and MSE/MARPE.
With a comprehensive background in orthodontics, Dr. Arndt excels in treating patients of all age groups and complexities, from children in Phase I to teens and adults requiring comprehensive care. Her proficiency extends to managing treatment, including impacted canines, TAD placement, extraction and non-extraction methods, surgical decompensation, and post-surgical finishing.
Known for her meticulous attention to detail and systematic treatment planning, Dr. Arndt remains at the forefront of orthodontic technology, utilizing advancements such as 3D printing, dental photography, digital scans, and clear aligners to deliver optimal results.
Driven by a commitment to personalized care, Dr. Arndt tailors her treatment by identifying each patient’s unique needs and goals. She strives to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring every patient feels comfortable and cared for throughout their orthodontic journey.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Arndt enjoys being active, exploring nature, reading, baking, and, most importantly, spending time with her family.
