"Dr. Chen is a Godsend to this business and I love her sweet and sincere care for her clients. I'm thankful for the expedient timely transition. Personally I was already done and quite dissatisfied and displeased with that whole setup including the majority of the rude and disrespectful (Office staff) except for the older adult Lady that book your appt 😁 Which brings me to my pt. I agree with the rude & insensitive young staff receptionist on phone calls. It's so disrespectful and just happened again today. (Several times) Being so angry after sharing my Flight from Chicago to KZO was over 4 hrs late but I would still try to make it if Im going to be about mins late which was already very stressful. Incidentally I call after 7 and was told it'll be okay but Thank God I called back to verify the late apt. Talk to "Jen" had to ask her name because the voice was quite familiar. She needs personal training on how to treat and respect your clientele! Especially the upmost respect for older adults. You usually get that from your home upbringing 🤔 So DR Chen I don't feel justified in not giving you full praise but please speak on this! Happy New Year's to the Entire Staff Family at KC's🙏🏽🥳🎊😇"

Meet Our Orthodontists in Plainwell
Dr. Kim Chen, DDS, grew up in Grand Rapids, Michigan and graduated from Washington University in St Louis with a dual degree in biology and psychology. She went on to complete dental school at the University of Michigan in 2019 and earned her Certificate in orthodontics in 2022 at Montefiore Medical Center. She is proud to be a Board Certified Orthodontist affiliated with the AAO, ADA, and Omicron Kappa Upsilon.
Orthodontic treatment is a unique journey for everyone and should be personalized to meet the goals and needs of each individual. Dr. Chen is passionate about figuring out custom treatment options for her patients that unlock their most confident and radiant smile so they can grin from ear to ear.
When she’s not serving patients, Dr. Chen loves traveling, wildlife, and trying new things. Some of her most notable adventures include diving with sharks in Mexico, hiking through a monsoon in Thailand, saving sea turtle eggs from poachers in Costa Rica, getting engaged during a caving expedition in Vietnam, and competing in national Bollywood competitions across the US.
