Dr. Corey Shook was inspired to pursue orthodontics because it allowed him to combine problem-solving with patient care in a meaningful way — as well as create beautiful smiles that boost self-confidence. He began his academic journey at the University of Mississippi, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences. He then attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, followed by the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he received a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Dental Science (MDS) degree. Additionally, he’s served as a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and has been affiliated with various other orthodontic organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the American Dental Education Association.

Dr. Shook likes to relate to his patients by treating them as if they were family. He enjoys taking time to listen to their stories and strives to create a positive, supportive atmosphere where patients can celebrate their progress.

Outside the office, Dr. Shook enjoys traveling and hanging out with his Labrador Retriever, Sam.
