Meet Our Orthodontists in Anniston
Dr. Corey Shook was inspired to pursue orthodontics because it allowed him to combine problem-solving with patient care in a meaningful way — as well as create beautiful smiles that boost self-confidence.
- He began his academic journey at the University of Mississippi, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences.
- He then attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
- After that, he attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he received a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Dental Science (MDS) degree.
Additionally, he is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and has been affiliated with various other orthodontic organizations including the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the American Dental Education Association.
Dr. Shook likes to relate to his patients by treating them as if they were family. He enjoys taking time to listen to their stories and strives to create a positive, supportive atmosphere where patients can celebrate their progress.
Outside the office, Dr. Shook enjoys traveling and hanging out with his Labrador Retriever, Sam.

“This branch is so wonderful! I’ve actually visited one other branch out of state and it doesn’t even compare to this one! They offer so many things! Great stuff for kids to play with while wait, coloring pages, drawing tablets, and even expo markers to draw or write on a window that the orthodontist can see! It is a cute little nook for them to do it in! Also, they have water and coffee as far as snacks they had goldfish and another type of small bag with cookies! Before you get seen and if you want to before you leave, they have a toothbrushing station with mouthwash! Not to mention they also had a photo station to show off your ever changing progression in your smile! All of these things were not offered at my other branch that I spent two years at out of state! So you could say I wish I would’ve had this level of hospitality during the whole time at the branch I was at! They’re also so kind and caring. I could go on and on about this branch and company, but I suggest you see for yourself!”

“I’ve received so many compliments on my Smile with my braces on!! The staff are very professional, respectful, friendly, and treat me like family. The Doctors take their time with each client and Direct the care and treatment that is being given. I’ve had to go in on days when the staff is off and their doing inventory. If something is hurting within my mouth, the clinicians always stop what they are doing to help me. Big Shot out to two of my favorites Ginger and Lynn. All the staff are wonderful from the moment You walk in. Love Love Love the service!!!!!!!!”
