I panicked and set up an appointment online for Wednesday at Michigan City, but then noticed that the Laporte office is open on Tuesdays so I called as soon as they opened. The girl that answered the phone was so condescending and argued with me the entire time. First she kept going on about how the appointment I booked online was for a consultation, I told her that there was no place for a note or anything and it didn’t get me any options. It also said nothing about a consultation when I booked it. She talked to me like I was a complete idiot. I finally said can you help me with my retainer or not? Then she proceeded to talk about the price like she was trying to talk me out of it and then told me I could just get them removed. I told her I don’t want it removed I want it fixed. Then she said that she couldn’t get me in until next week. So I’m just supposed to be in pain until then? She recommended I try clipping it myself, are you serious? If it weren’t for your rude staff I would be more than glad to wait until next week but you will never get my business or any money from me again.”

I believe you can have good service for one child but when you have multiple children go through a practice, you really get to know the staff and see a consistency in the quality of care (not not). We went for a consult and ended up getting care the same day, which thrilled my child. They are picking up where our other orthodontist left off because we had to move away.
