“Dr Santos and staffs are great. They made our son comfortable during the procedure every visit. Appointment schedule changes were very easy and smooth every time we called. Our son’s teeth looks great after pulling the braces out. However, I’m giving them 3 stars because we got a surprise statement yesterday asking to pay extra ~$500. During the first visit, they said we would only have to pay ~$1500 and our insurance (UHC) will cover the rest, ~$1800. And they gave us monthly payment plan that we pay $120 a month. They didn’t mention to us that this is only an estimate. Be aware of what the contract says. The insurance benefit on the treatment contract is only an estimate. I don’t know how they got the estimate or even talked to our insurance. Make sure to call your insurance yourself and find out exactly how much your insurance will cover before signing the treatment contract. Or find some other Orthodontic care that will give you exact payment amount, not an estimate. Updated: Dr Santos and his billing team contacted me about the extra billing I received. They said there has been a mistake and made a correction in billing. I’m updating my review to 5 stars because their service/staff and everything else were great except this billing issue.”
