Meet Our Orthodontists in Waycross
Dr. Wolpin was born and raised in Ocean City, Maryland. She completed her undergraduate studies at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, earning a bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in psychology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She then earned her master’s degree in dentistry along with a certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Jacksonville University.
Throughout her training, Wolpin demonstrated leadership and a commitment to community service. During her academic career, she served as a mission coordinator, organizing outreach initiatives for underserved populations, and honed her orthodontic skills and knowledge as a tutor and teaching assistant. Her dedication to advancing the field led her to serve on the Virginia Dental Association Foundation board of directors, where she contributed to strategic initiatives that promote oral health equity.
In her free time, Wolpin enjoys traveling, reading, and going to the beach with her husband, Collin, and their son, Brighton.
Terry Smith graduated from the University of Georgia with a pharmacy degree. He earned a dental degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his orthodontic training at Saint Louis University. Smith has been practicing orthodontics since 1990. He is a member of the Thomasville Rotary Club and has served as a volunteer for various local organizations.
