Meet Our Orthodontists in Waxhaw
Dr. Wesley Robinson is a North Carolina native who earned his Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina State University before receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine with honors from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. During dental school, he received several honors, including the Quintessence Biological Award and the U.S. Army Health Professions Scholarship Award, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at Oregon Health & Science University.
Following his orthodontic training, Dr. Robinson served three years on active duty in the United States Army, achieving the rank of Major. He served as Chief of Orthodontics at Love Dental Clinic and Martin Army Community Hospital in Columbus, Georgia, where he also mentored residents and served as an orthodontic advisor for the hospital’s Craniofacial Board and Orthognathic Surgery Review Board. His military experience provided him with extensive exposure to complex orthodontic and surgical cases.
Dr. Robinson is passionate about advancing the field of orthodontics and sharing his knowledge with others. He has lectured nationally on orthodontic techniques, practice efficiency, and technology, and his work has been published in scientific and dental journals. He is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Southern Association of Orthodontists, North Carolina State Dental Society, Charlotte Dental Society, and Metrolina Dental Society.
