The bedside manner wasn’t always what I expected, but I did notice a positive change as my treatment progressed, and our interactions became much better toward the end. Getting my braces removed was surprisingly bittersweet. After wearing them for so long, they almost felt like part of me, so saying goodbye was emotional. Seeing my new smile made it all worth it. And one last tip for future patients—after your braces come off, don’t forget to treat yourself to the office’s candy wall! You’ve definitely earned it.
