"I really love this dentist! This dentist doesn’t act like they’re non-friendly. They are very nice people that are happy about what they do to help the patient….Maginnis won’t disappoint you and will make sure your smile look great from your previous treatment! I’m happy to say I’m more confident and getting more better at smiling. Maginnis understands everything you tell them about your mouth and what u need for braces (if needed) they will not let you down! I recommend new people with getting braces to go here the payments and everything is discussed and convenient! When I first came to Maginnis to Currently June 13th I really love showing my teeth, but before that I would not even smile I was very insecure! 10/10 please come here! Meet our Orthodontists in Stateboro
Dr. Margeson was born and raised in Georgia. After studying at the University of Georgia, Dr. Margeson earned his D.M.D at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry before receiving his M.S. degree in Oral Biology and certificate in orthodontics.
Dr. Margeson has held several leadership positions in many professional organizations such as former president of the Georgia Association of Orthodontists and former part-time associate professor at Augusta University.
He is currently a diplomat for the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr.Margeson is also an involved member of his community.
Dr. Andrew MacDonald graduated with honors from St. Bonaventure University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and a minor in psychology. He then graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. After graduating from dental school, he practiced general dentistry part-time while attending the postgraduate program in orthodontics at SUNY at Buffalo.
Throughout his career, he has focused on providing individualized treatment, whether with braces, aligners, or retainers. He always takes the time to educate patients on their treatment options and ensures each patient receives a personalized plan tailored to their goals and lifestyle. His expertise and collaborative approach reflect his deep commitment to patient care and creating healthy, confident smiles.
Dr. MacDonald and his wife, Susan, have three adult children and two Labradoodles. They enjoy biking, golfing, boating, skiing, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. Dr. MacDonald looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your best smile.
