Meet our Orthodontists in Savannah
Dr. Margeson was born and raised in Georgia. After studying at the University of Georgia, Dr. Margeson earned his D.M.D at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry before receiving his M.S. degree in Oral Biology and certificate in orthodontics.
Dr. Margeson has held several leadership positions in many professional organizations such as former president of the Georgia Association of Orthodontists and former part-time associate professor at Augusta University.
He is currently a diplomat for the American Association of Orthodontists. Dr.Margeson is also an involved member of his community.

“My son has had a wonderful experience getting braces from the staff at Maginnis Savannah. Everyone has been professional, pleasant, and efficient. One couldn’t really couldn’t ask for much more. I would like to share an example of their customer service. We received a quote for braces during the initial consultation that was inclusive of insurance participation. Despite verifying with our insurer on three separate occasions, Maginnis received mis-information which resulted in an unexpected bill to my family of $1,400. I called seeking an explanation and spoke to a woman named Tosh. Tosh was filling in for her manager who was on vacation that week. When I expressed my frustration, Tosh did a wonderful job listening and was super professional and polite. She made no promises but assured me that she would convey this information to her manager upon her return the following week. I received a phone call from Julie, the manager, the following Monday afternoon where she patiently explained the back office processes related to insurance and billing. She then shared with me that Maginnis would be absorbing the additional $1,400 charge. It would have been super easy for Maginnis to have simply passed that additional charge along. But instead they chose to go above and beyond and make a lasting impression on me and my family. We would enthusiastically recommend Maginnis Savannah to anyone who needs braces!
