Meet Our Orthodontists in Powell
Kent Underwood, DDS, has practiced orthodontics since 1998 and is thankful for the opportunity to be a part of his patients’ lives in a unique profession.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University, Underwood attended dental school at Ohio State University and completed his residency in orthodontics at Virginia Commonwealth University. He then returned to Ohio to continue practicing orthodontics.
Outside of the office, Underwood teaches as an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University Division of Orthodontics. He also enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, fly fishing and participating in community service.
Dr. Sadie Cohen earned her engineering degree from Miami University before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Medicine and Master of Science at the University of Kentucky, where she also received her orthodontic certificate. She was drawn to orthodontics for the opportunity to build long-term relationships and support her patients’ confidence and growth throughout life’s milestones. She loves learning what makes each patient unique and hearing about their lives – whether it’s a new sport at school, starting a new job, or an exciting life event.
Known for her warm personality and natural ability to connect with others, Dr. Cohen thrives on creating a sense of community wherever she goes by bringing people together.
When she’s not in the office, you’ll likely find her with her husband, Matt, and their Black Labrador, Mulligan, enjoying walks or relaxing at local coffee shops and breweries. A self-proclaimed foodie, she loves discovering new restaurants and recreating recipes she finds online.
