Meet Our Orthodontists in Knoxville – Hardin Valley
Dr. Stella Kim is from Knoxville, TN and received a doctorate of dental surgery from University of Tennessee College of Dentistry, where she studied orthodontics.
In addition, Dr. Kim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, member of American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontics, and Southern Association of Orthodontists. Dr Kim is bilingual, and part of the Spanish-speaking team.
Dr. Kim is also a former United States Air Force Dentist and Rotary Club member.
Edgmon earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. A few years later, he went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Master of Science in Orthodontics, and Specialty Certificate in Orthodontics from Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California. He is a proud member of several organizations including a lifetime member of the American Dental Association, the Tennessee Dental Association, and the American Association of Orthodontists. In his free time, Edgmon enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters. He is an accomplished triathlete and has competed in Ironman competitions. Edgmon believes every day is a great day to improve the lives of our community.

“Smile Doctors did a great job with my son’s braces. He wore them for ten months and his teeth looked amazing after they were taken off. Smile Doctors gave us a device to take pictures of his braces every week at home using my phone, so we only had to come in for appointments every 8 weeks or so. The pricing was transparent, with no additional costs tacked on after the initial agreement. Staff were pleasant and answered all our questions, and made my son feel comfortable with the process. Dr. Edgmon is very detail-oriented, and he took care of every tiny thing, down to the fine hand work of removing the glue once the brackets were taken off.”
