Wentz Orthodontics is blessed to have Dr. Brandon Tivis. He is one of our homegrown smiles. A former patient of Dr. Wentz’s, Dr. Tivis was born and raised in Lubbock. He is a graduate of Trinity Christian High School and attended Texas A&M. He completed his orthodontic education at the St. Louis University Center for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Tivis also completed a cleft lip and palate fellowship. Dr. Tivis is married to Allyssa and they have a precious baby girl, Emerson. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball and cooking.

Dr. Reagan Bonner was born and raised in Dumas, Texas, where his roots continue to shape his commitment to caring for children and families. He graduated summa cum laude from West Texas A&M University with a degree in economics before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2011. During dental school, he received the Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry in both his junior and senior years and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society.

After dental school, Dr. Reagan returned to the Texas Panhandle to practice alongside his father, the original “Dr. Bonner.” Patients began calling him “Dr. Reagan” to distinguish between the two, and the name has stayed with him ever since. His growing interest in orthodontics led him to complete a three-year residency at the Georgia School of Orthodontics in Atlanta, where he earned his orthodontic specialty certificate.

A Fellow of the International College of Dentists and American College of Dentists, Dr. Reagan has served on the Panhandle District Dental Society board and volunteered with Texas Mission of Mercy. He is passionate about creating a welcoming, comfortable experience for every patient.

Outside the office, Dr. Reagan enjoys spending time with his wife and their four daughters, as well as occasional trips to the mountains for snow skiing.
