Dr. Katelyn Owen fell in love with orthodontics while shadowing Dr. Miller during her college summer breaks and takes great pride in creating everlasting smiles at Orthodontic Associates. Dr. Owen received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Bucknell University and graduated summa cum laude while also competing on the Division 1 lacrosse team. She then obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2018. Following dental school, she moved to Pittsburgh (but remained a faithful Ravens fan) and obtained a Master of Science degree and certificate in orthodontics from Seton Hill University.
Dr. Owen is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists and the Maryland State Dental Association. She is Invisalign® certified and up to date on the latest techniques, such as temporary anchorage devices and soft tissue laser surgery.
