Orthodontists in Front Royal

Dr. DeArment grew up in Winchester and attended John Handley High School, beginning a lifelong connection to the community he now serves. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Richmond, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He then received his dental degree from Virginia Commonwealth University, graduating at the top of his class, before completing his orthodontic residency at the University of Louisville. He returned to Winchester in 1996 to begin his orthodontic career.

In 2006, Dr. DeArment established Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics after purchasing the practice of Dr. John Goodloe. He was among the first orthodontists in the country to become Invisalign certified in 2000, and he and Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics have since been recognized as a Top 1% Invisalign Provider in North America. The practice has also received repeated recognition from readers of Virginia Living magazine, The Winchester Star, and The Northern Virginia Daily.

Dr. DeArment is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles while building confidence and self-esteem. He is a member of the American Dental Association and American Association of Orthodontists, along with regional and state dental and orthodontic organizations, and is a past president of the Virginia Association of Orthodontists.

Giving back to the Winchester community is also an important part of Dr. DeArment’s life. He has held leadership roles with the Handley Judges Athletic Association, Winchester Education Foundation, and United Way of the Northern Shenandoah Valley, as well as contributed to community and church fundraising efforts.

Outside the office, Dr. DeArment enjoys fitness, biking, tennis, skiing, painting, traveling, working outdoors, and attending sporting events. Most of all, he enjoys spending time with his family and cheering on his favorite Pittsburgh sports teams.

Dr. Lill has been specializing in orthodontics since 2003. His passion lies in creating life-changing smile transformations unmatched in the orthodontic community while providing a “WOW” experience for all patients. He is considered a top orthodontic provider worldwide using the latest digital technologies available. Building relationships with patients through their orthodontic journey provides him the drive to do his best for them and inspire them to create their own smile story to be more in life.

He grew up in Rochester, New York, and he earned his undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University. He then spent four years working in two trauma centers, building upon his interest in caring for others that started in his teens as a volunteer medic. He graduated summa cum laude with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He then completed a certificate program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry and earned a certificate and Master of Science degree in orthodontics from the Medical College of Virginia before joining Dr. DeArment and the Shenandoah Valley Orthodontics team in Winchester and Front Royal.

Dr. Lill has published research in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and gives public and professional lectures on oral health topics. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Virginia Association of Orthodontists, and the Southern Association of Orthodontists. He is currently on the board and president-elect of the VA Orthodontic Education and Research Foundation.

Away from the office, Dr. Lill actively supports area schools’ education and athletic programs, as well as various local United Way activities by generously donating his time, skills and resources. He is an accomplished licensed travel soccer coach with Blue Ridge United, currently the chairman of the board, and is passionate about coaching youth soccer. In his spare time, he enjoys lake life, boating, gas-free driving, cooking, playing sports and supporting the Penn State, Steelers and Penguins teams. Most importantly, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children, two of them being twin boys.

Dr. Sherlly Dolmuz enjoys helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles through personalized orthodontic care built on trust, communication, and lasting relationships. She is committed to creating a positive experience for every patient and takes pride in making each visit comfortable, informative, and tailored to each individual’s needs.

Born and raised in Maryland, Dr. Dolmuz is proud of her Nicaraguan heritage. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she completed the Honors College program in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine before completing her orthodontic residency at Georgetown University MedStar Washington Hospital Center. During her residency, she earned her Certificate in Orthodontics and served as Chief Resident. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Dr. Dolmuz enjoys connecting with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.

Outside the office, Dr. Dolmuz enjoys staying active through workouts and hiking, expressing her creativity through painting, and learning to play the guitar and piano. She also loves traveling, exploring new restaurants, and sharing her Nicaraguan culture through food, traditions, and community involvement.
