Orthodontists in Ellicott City

Dr. Robert Yoon is a Baltimore native who was raised in Owings Mills, Maryland. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University and spent several years working as an engineer with IBM and BGE before pursuing dentistry at the University of Maryland. He graduated magna cum laude and was recognized with several academic and research honors, including membership in the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and the Harry E. Kelsy Orthodontic Award.
Dr. Yoon went on to complete a three-year post-doctoral residency in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at the University of Maryland, earning his Master of Science degree and certificate in orthodontics. He has practiced exclusively in orthodontics since 2000 and is dedicated to providing patients with personalized treatment designed to create healthy, confident smiles.
A longtime member of the dental and orthodontic community, Dr. Yoon belongs to the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Maryland State Society of Orthodontics, Mid-Atlantic Society of Orthodontics, Anne Arundel Dental Association, and Howard County Dental Association.
Dr. Yoon has been recognized by patients and peers throughout his career, including multiple appearances among Annapolis Top Orthodontists and Baltimore Magazine’s Top Dentists. He has also received repeated community recognition as a leading orthodontic practice in the Pasadena area.
Dr. Yoon specializes in Invisalign® clear aligners and is an Elite Provider, a distinction awarded to a select percentage of orthodontists in the United States.

Dr. Sujeong Lee was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. She graduated magna cum laude from Drexel University in Philadelphia, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences.

Dr. Lee continued her education at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree. During dental school, she received the AADR Travel Award for her research on mast cells and earned community health honors for founding an independent outreach program that provided mentorship, oral health education, and preventive care to the Korean community in the greater Philadelphia area.

Following her dental education, Dr. Lee completed a general practice residency at Lincoln Medical and Health Center in Bronx, NY, where she gained advanced training in pediatric dentistry, emergency care, and surgical orthodontics. She then pursued specialized training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. There, she earned a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics along with a Master of Science in Dentistry.

Dr. Lee is committed to delivering exceptional orthodontic care and continually advancing her expertise in the field. She is dedicated to providing personalized care, fostering open communication and collaboration with her patients, and crafting healthy, beautiful smiles tailored to each individual’s needs. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Lee enjoys skiing, figure skating, traveling, working out, and exploring new restaurants with her husband.
