Meet Our Orthodontists in Eagan
Dr. Jennifer Eisenhuth knew at a young age that orthodontics was for her—and that she wanted to create beautiful smiles. Her utter passion for orthodontics has led her to develop an environment that’s caring, trusting, and lots of fun for everyone.
Dr. Jennifer graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1994 at the top of her class and earned the Minnesota Association of Orthodontic Achievement Award. She then began her residency in orthodontics at the University of Minnesota, where she earned both a certificate in orthodontics and a Master of Science degree. Since 1996, she has led her own practice.
She feels truly privileged to be able to provide excellence in orthodontic care to the Twin Cities, — St. Paul and Minneapolis, and their surrounding regions, including Mendota Heights, Inver Grove Heights, Burnsville, Apple Valley, and Eagan, Minnesota.
Dr. Chad Rasmussen attended the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in hopes of becoming a math teacher before deciding to pursue dentistry. He received his DDS from the University of Minnesota and completed his orthodontic residency at Washington Hospital Center and Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC. On the opposite coast, Dr. Rasmussen earned his master’s degree in academic medicine from the University of Southern California.
After spending time practicing general dentistry, Dr. Rasmussen transitioned to orthodontics nearly 10 year ago. He is grateful for the ability to positively impact someone’s quality of life and loves getting to know his patients. He particularly enjoys the opportunity to share in their interests and hear their takes on sports, music, art, reading, or gaming.
Dr. Rasmussen is a board-certified orthodontist and is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Cleft Lip and Palate Association. When he’s resting from a busy week of creating confident smiles, his ideal weekend would include spending quality time with his daughter and his friends, repairing an old watch, and enjoying walks to see the changing leaves in autumn.

“Never met Dr. Jennifer, but Dr. Rasmussen was great! He was very friendly and answered questions. I did the smile express treatment (aimed at adults, only 20 weeks/aligners, no in office check ins). The only thing disappointing is that I still have a small gap in my front teeth, which is why I did the treatment. I am very happy overall but makes me wonder if it would’ve been better to do the comprehensive treatment instead of the smile express. I wish I would’ve asked more questions beforehand and it would’ve been explained that there would be a small gap still due to the shape of my teeth (Dr. Rasmussen’s answer when I asked at my last appt). Hard to swallow the pill that I might need to end up doing treatment again in a few years if I want them perfect and when I can afford treatment again. Very nice staff.”
