"Wow! It's hard to believe that we have been with Dr. Kaplan for a decade! I only have two children, and one of them had orthodontia twice. It's been a supreme experience. Dr. Kaplan has a wonderful bedside manner. One unique aspect of knowing him is that we both have two sons in the same age range, and we've traded stories throughout the years. His staff is warm and accommodating. We've never waited long to be seen. The office is cozy from the coffee to the movies. And the final product is perfection! Both sons have done well with their corrective wear. We've had both aligners and metal bands. Summertime is special because Dr. K shows his appreciation by treating patient families to a movie. Although I am pleased for how my sons' smiles look, this is also the end of our ortho journey. We will miss seeing him."

Meet Our Orthodontists in Dunwoody – 4700 Chamblee
Dr. Jason Kaplan graduated from White Station High School in Memphis, Tennessee. Four years later, after completing a BA in biology at the University of Kansas (Go Jayhawks), he returned to Memphis and enrolled in the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. Dr. Kaplan received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UT and then headed north to the University of Detroit Mercy for his orthodontic residency. He was awarded a certificate in orthodontics and earned his Master of Science degree after completing his thesis, “The Benefits of Maxillary and Mandibular Expansion Performed in the Mixed Dentition (Ages 7-10).”
Dr. Kaplan is involved in research and development for two leading orthodontic companies and has been sought out for his skills in treating patients with both clear aligners, such as Invisalign®, and braces. He is also a speaker for Henry Schein Orthodontics and helps educate other orthodontists in advanced techniques to enhance treatment.
Dr. Kaplan is board-eligible to be a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, is a member of the Atlanta chapter of the Alpha Omega Dental Fraternity, and is a past director of the Georgia Association of Orthodontists.
