Dr. R. Todd Gililland earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Mississippi and his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. He further specialized in cosmetic and implant dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his orthodontic residency at New York University.
Dr. Gililland’s journey into orthodontics began during his freshman year of college when he was inspired by a conversation with Dr. Bishop, the founder of the practice he would one day join. He has been practicing since 2002 and currently serves six of the seven practice locations.
Dr. Gililland is known for his patient-centric approach. He not only aims to build long-term relationships with his patients but also provide them with a compassionate and humorous experience.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Gililland enjoys duck hunting, fishing, golf, and SEC football. He is married to his wife, Tiffany, and together they have three children.
