Meet Our Orthodontists in Chesapeake
Dr. Todd Bivins was born in Richmond, Virginia, where he spent the first 25 years of his life. He now lives in Suffolk with his wife, Jennifer Payne-Bivins, and their three children: Jack, Alex, and Lily.
Dr. Bivins is a 1988 Highland Springs High School graduate. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University, where he majored in biology and earned early acceptance into dental school. Dr. Bivins then attended the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors. He continued his specialty training at the University of Detroit Mercy, where he received his certificate as an orthodontic specialist as well as a master’s degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.
Dr. Bivins is a helicopter pilot and an accomplished artist whose work has won several awards. His art has been displayed in museums, including the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
