Meet Our Orthodontists in Charlotte
Dr. Keith T. Sellers has practiced orthodontics for over 35 years and has been voted Charlotte’s Top Orthodontist for 10 years in a row by his peers! After graduating with a BA from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill in 1978, Dr. Sellers then continued his education at UNC, getting his Doctor of Dental Science degree in 1982. Then, he was off to St. Louis University to get his master’s degree in orthodontics.
Since then, Dr. Sellers has made it his mission to learn new techniques so that he can give his patients the best results possible. In fact, it’s this desire to learn more that’s made him one of the few Top 1% Invisalign Providers in America. In addition, Dr. Sellers is an active member of the Progressive Study Club and the Damon Study Club.
Dr. Sellers grew up in Statesville, NC, and is the youngest of three brothers. He and his wife, DeAnna, and their children, Madison, Sydney, and Jake, live in South Charlotte. Dr. Sellers is an avid golfer and also enjoys tennis, ping pong, and backgammon.
Dr. Mitali Carlisle was born in India and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, arriving in the United States as a toddler. Her multicultural background has made her multilingual and conversational in several languages. As the first orthodontist in her family, she takes pride in creating meaningful change through the perfect blend of art and science that defines orthodontics.
Dr. Mitali earned her undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Louisville. Seeking sunshine and new opportunities, she then pursued her orthodontic residency at the University of Florida (Go Gators!), where she served as a resident champion. The College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics presented her with a prestigious award at the 2025 AAO Case Display for one of her outstanding finished cases.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Mitali loves traveling and once backpacked through 14 cities across Europe before starting dental school. She enjoys trying new cuisines, exploring different cultures, and capturing moments through vlogging — using social media as a creative outlet to connect, inspire, and share her journey. She loves staying active and can often be found on the tennis court or enjoying a game of pickleball. Her favorite moments, however, are spent with friends and family — especially her husband, who was also her college sweetheart. Whether it’s through her passion for people, creativity, or clinical care, Dr. Mitali strives to create confident, lasting smiles.
