David Rad, DMD, MS, is a highly attentive orthodontist that gives his patients a superior level of care at Rad Orthodontics, with locations in College Park, Potomac, and Bethesda, Maryland.

Education
Dr. Dave attended Boston University in Massachusetts for his undergraduate degree, graduating with honors in economics. He then went to Boston University School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts, graduating magna cum laude with his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society for excellence in academic achievement, and he also received a certificate of excellence from the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology for his outstanding academic achievements in the field of oral pathology.

Dr. Dave obtained a Master of Science degree in oral biology and periodontics and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from Boston University Dental School in Massachusetts. Notably, he served as chief resident during his clinical residency and also performed extensive research in bone biology and metabolism during his postgraduate training.

Additional Distinctions & Professional Memberships
In 2012, Dr. Dave and his brother, Dr. Mehdy, were recognized as Super Elite Invisalign® Providers, which placed them in the top 1% of Invisalign® providers in the world. He also lectures locally about Invisalign® and other advances in orthodontic treatment. He enjoys staying at the forefront of dental progress to offer the highest level of care to his patients.

Dr. Dave is highly active in local dental groups and study clubs. He also maintains memberships with the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, Maryland State Society of Orthodontics, and Southern Maryland Dental Society.

Outside the Office
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Dave enjoys spending time with family and friends. He enjoys pretty much anything on the water, including fishing, paddle boarding, and wakeboarding.

Mehdy Rad, DMD, MS, is a widely respected and personable orthodontist at Rad Orthodontics, with locations in College Park, Potomac, and Bethesda, Maryland. He’s passionate about helping his patients achieve a beautiful, healthy, and straight smile, and walking alongside them throughout their treatment.

Education
Dr. Mehdy earned his bachelor’s degree from Boston University in Massachusetts with a major in ethical philosophy and minors in biology and chemistry. He obtained his dental degree from the Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts, and he graduated on the dean’s list. For his externship rotation, he practiced at the dental clinic on Ramey Air Force Base in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

Following his dental training, Dr. Mehdy attended a one-year residency in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry at Boston Medical Center in Massachusetts, where he was given an award for clinical excellence. He went on to specialize in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics at Boston University. While a student there, he was accorded the prestigious position of chief resident.

Professional Associations and Continuing Education
Dr. Mehdy stays dedicated to his passion for knowledge in his field by participating in continuing education. He serves as an associate clinical professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. In addition, Dr. Mehdy lectures locally and nationally on a broad range of topics related to orthodontics. He also maintains memberships with the American Dental Association and the Greater Washington Orthodontic Society.

Outside the Office
Dr. Mehdy lives with his wife and daughter in Potomac, Maryland, where he enjoys spending as much quality time with his family as possible, sharing smiles, and creating happy memories. In his spare time, he enjoys kiteboarding, snowboarding, bicycle racing, soccer, and playing guitar.

Dr. Tri Le was born in Maryland and grew up in different parts of the state, from Harford County to Montgomery County. He attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences. He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. He went on to complete his orthodontic residency at the University of Maryland, where he received both his orthodontic certificate and Master of Science in biomedical sciences. He is proud to be a member of the distinguished Omicron Kappa Upsilon and Gorgas Odontological honor societies and is working toward becoming a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

As a Maryland native, Dr. Le is overjoyed to be returning to the communities he grew up in to help patients achieve smiles they are confident in. Dr. Le understands the importance of orthodontics in enhancing not only the appearance of a smile, but also in promoting overall oral health and well-being. His patient-centered approach evaluates each patient individually to create a comprehensive treatment plan tailored to their needs.

Outside the office, Dr. Le resides in the DMV area and enjoys traveling, playing volleyball, trying out new recipes, snowboarding, working out, and building LEGO sets. As a Maryland native and sports enthusiast, you can find Dr. Le cheering on the Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles throughout the season.
