Meet Our Orthodontists in Arlington
Dr. Colby Cajero (Dr. Colby to her patients) didn’t let her experience with childhood bullying get her down. Instead, her own life-changing orthodontic treatment at age 13 inspired a career choice. Her passion for an awesome smile’s transformational power fueled a coast-to-coast educational journey to realize her goal of becoming an orthodontist.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). After completing an orthodontic research fellowship at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, she earned her certificate in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics from the Eastman Institute for Oral Health of the University of Rochester in New York. Dr. Colby is currently a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics—a voluntary credential representing a personal and public commitment to high standards and lifelong learning.
Married to her high school sweetheart, Justin, Dr. Colby proudly co-parents two big fur babies, Tosha and Copper, who are littermate Doberman-mixed breed pups plus a Lab-mixed breed rescue named Nenamiyia. She and Justin love to travel, scuba dive and go fishing. They’re always up for trying new foods and experiencing new cultures. To relax, she enjoys massages and binge-watching various TV shows, including one that’s always in rotation, Big Bang Theory.
