Invisalign® for Teens
With Invisalign for teens, our young-adult patients can straighten their smile with confidence.
We know that each of our patients is unique—especially teens! Our teen patients have varying preferences, lifestyles, needs and goals, and it’s our job to help. Invisalign® aligners are comfortable, removable and practically invisible.
Invisalign® for teens allows you to continue playing sports or musical instruments without the worry of cutting your lip on metal brackets and wires.
Most Invisalign® patients complete their treatment in as little as 12 months, as long as the aligners are working according to schedule.
You won’t have any diet restrictions, as you can remove your aligners to eat. You’ll also remove your aligners to brush and floss your teeth, so you won’t have to work around any brackets or wires!
While the jaw bones are still developing in the early teen years, Invisalign® is ideal for guiding permanent teeth into a straight and healthy alignment.

It’s important to discuss all aspects of Invisalign treatment with your local orthodontist to ensure that it is the right option for you.
Some points to keep in mind when considering Invisalign for Teens:
Invisalign clear aligners must be worn for at least 22 hours per day and should only be removed when eating, drinking, brushing, or flossing. If they are not worn as prescribed, treatment may be less effective or take longer.
Because aligners are removable, they also have the potential to get lost. For example, if your teen removes them to eat and forgets to put them back on, they may become misplaced.
Smile Doctors orthodontists make custom-designed clear aligners surprisingly affordable. Invisalign® treatment may even be covered by many insurance plans.
The cost of Invisalign® aligners for teens depends on the length of treatment, specific treatment details, and insurance coverage. Our doctors and treatment coordinators are happy to develop a payment plan that meets your budget.
We help everyone reach their smile potential!
