Meet Our Orthodontists in Dewitt
A native of the Lansing area, Dr. Ed Grubaugh grew up on a farm just north of DeWitt and discovered his passion for orthodontics after experiencing firsthand the positive impact treatment had on his own smile at age 12.
He went on to attend Michigan State University, where he majored in Chemistry before pursuing dentistry. In dental school, Dr. Grubaugh graduated at the top of his class and was elected to the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He then continued his education at The Ohio State University, completing his orthodontic specialty training while earning a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.
Today, Dr. Grubaugh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and remains passionate about advancing the specialty through research and innovation. His interests include digital orthodontic imaging and exploring how technology can make treatment more efficient and effective for patients. His research has been published in a leading orthodontic journal, and in addition to caring for patients full time, he serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University.
Outside the office, Dr. Grubaugh is an avid sports fan who cheers for all of the universities he attended, though his loyalty will always belong to Michigan State University.
